Ortopad Bamboo patches are latex-free and hypo-allergenic orthoptic eye patches, crafted from a soft, natural bamboo fabric. This material allows the skin to breathe naturally and minimizes eyelid perspiration. Bamboo is one of the fastest renewable resources, with a growth rate of up to one meter per day. When harvesting the stalks, the entire plant remains, and the widely branched roots create new shoots over and over again, making it an eco-friendly choice.

The patches feature a special shape with nasal slits cut into the patch for a better fit close to the nose, allowing the patch to fit well under eye glasses. The opaque black inlay assures maximum shielding from light. Ortopad eye patches contain a hypo-allergenic and latex-free adhesive, which is especially suitable for delicate and sensitive skin, and offers maximum comfort even with prolonged use.

Available in three sizes – Junior (for children up to 2 years), Medium (for children 2-4 years), and Regular (for children over 4 years) – the patches come in boxes of 50 individually wrapped patches. Many patterns can also be purchased separately in bags of 10, making patching fun for children. Reward posters are also available.

The five designs in every box – planes, skull/bones, jets, footprints, and cars – add an element of entertainment to the patching process.
