Ortopad Orthoptic Eye Patches have been successfully helping children with amblyopia (lazy eye) for over 20 years. Ortopad Bamboo patches, made of a soft, natural bamboo fabric, are latex-free and hypo-allergenic orthoptic eye patches.

The Ortopad Eye Patches come in fun patterned designs and are available in three sizes: Junior (for children up to 2 years), Medium (for children 2-4 years), and Regular (for children over 4 years). They are available in boxes of 50 individually wrapped patches, and many patterns can also be purchased separately in bags of 10. Reward posters are also available. Ortopad products are made in Italy.

Ortopad's soft, natural bamboo material allows the skin to breathe naturally and minimizes eyelid perspiration. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource, with a growth rate of up to one meter per day. The entire plant remains during harvesting, and the widely branched roots create new shoots repeatedly.

Ortopad patches have a special shape with nasal slits cut into the patch for a better fit close to the nose, allowing the patch to fit well under eye glasses. The opaque black inlay assures maximum shielding from light.

Ortopad eye patches contain a hypo-allergenic and latex-free adhesive, which is especially suitable for delicate and sensitive skin, and offers maximum comfort even with prolonged use. The adhesive is free from solvents, latex, or natural rubber derivatives and preservatives.

Each box of Ortopad Junior size patches (2 5/8 x 1-31/32") contains 50 individually wrapped patches in 5 fun designs: Hedgehogs, Puppies, Kittens, Pandas, and Turtles, making patching a more enjoyable experience for children.
