Ortopad Orthoptic Eye Patches have been successfully helping children with amblyopia (lazy eye) for over 20 years. These patches, made of soft, natural bamboo fabric, come in fun patterned designs and are available in three sizes: Junior (for children up to 2 years), Medium (for children 2-4 years), and Regular (for children over 4 years). Ortopad Bamboo patches are latex-free and hypo-allergenic, with a gentle, hypo-allergenic adhesive that is suitable for delicate and sensitive skin, offering maximum comfort even with prolonged use.

The bamboo material used in Ortopad patches allows the skin to breathe naturally and minimizes eyelid perspiration. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource, with a growth rate of up to one meter per day. During the harvesting process, the entire plant remains, and the widely branched roots create new shoots over and over again, making bamboo a sustainable and eco-friendly choice.

Ortopad patches have a special shape with nasal slits cut into the patch for a better fit close to the nose, allowing the patch to fit well under eyeglasses. The opaque black inlay assures maximum shielding from light, providing superior light-blocking qualities.

The Medium-sized Ortopad patches (2-63/64" x 2-1/8") are available in boxes of 50 individually wrapped patches, with 5 different designs in every box (10 Footprints, 10 Butterflies, 10 Cats, 10 Lipstick, 10 Pink Hearts), making patching fun for girls aged 2-4.
